How about having a different day at an amusement park in Ireland? Located about 30 km from the center of Dublin, Tayto Park is the only park in the country, offering many attractions for both children and adults.

WHAT YOU WILL FIND IN THIS PARK:

In the park, it’s possible to have fun with more radical attractions such as roller coasters, as well as more tranquil ones such as 5D cinema or the train ride. There you will also find a special park shop, with souvenirs and personalized local items, food stalls, candy store, and a zoo.

An attraction that opened recently and has attracted many visitors (and a long line) is the Viking Voyage. The toy takes you along a path in the water, all Viking themed. Just be prepared because you might get wet! Tip: You can buy a raincoat for 2 euro while you queue.

Another new attraction is the World Of Raptors, a bird show that takes place in a 450-seat outdoor arena. Visitors will have the opportunity to see various species of eagles, owls, vultures, and hawks from around the world in a free flight demonstration.

It’s possible to reach the park by car or bus. For those who choose public transport, Tayto Park and Bus Éireann have a partnership and provide Dublin bus service to Tayto Park. The journey takes about 45 minutes from the city center. You can check the timetable and buses at this link.
