Bernard Shaw

11-12 Richmond St S, Dublin 2

Has a lovely beer garden with a real double-decker bus painted in blue – and you can order some pizza to eat on the bus … classic!

The Barge

42 Charlemont St, Dublin 2, Ranelagh

Beside the Grand Canal. The owners do not really mind people taking their drinks outside and consuming them on the banks of the canal.

Grogans

15 South William Street, Dublin 2

Iconic place just off Grafton Street. Great for people watching and also famed for its pints of Guinness.

The Boat Bar (MV Cill Airne)

Quay 16, North Wall Quay, Dublin 1

It’s actually a restaurant/bistro and maybe not as cool as the places above, but it’s also a perfect place for a pint on a nice day as you kick off your weekend.
