My internship experience

Homero Costa, Team PR Reilly (www.team.ie):

“I did my internship with Team PR Reilly. The company is the biggest distributor of car parts in Ireland and they’re based in a big building in Kilbarrack in North Dublin. I spent a few months as an intern in their office. My jobs were placing back orders, adjusting stock up and down, consulting and getting information from PCU system to find the best prices and decide which supplier the parts should be bought from. I also revised items on invoices one by one and checked the final price, marking any irregularity.

My supervisor was very supportive and I felt really comfortable in the company. The experience was really great as I had the chance to practice my speaking skills, learn from a new work environment and do different types of work.

During my time in PR Reilly I improved my speaking and listening skills and got some good work experience. I started speaking faster and more fluently and I learned some new words and ways to explain things in English.

I would definitely recommend PR Reilly to other students who are thinking about doing an internship. The application process was really easy and fast, the coordinator is very attentive and provided all support.”
