As Ireland tightens measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, most businesses have closed their doors, but many companies carry on with employees working remotely. Some of these Irish employers are now willing to take on virtual interns.
It is a mutually beneficial relationship as businesses can get help with new and existing projects, while the interns can get some professional experience and improve their skills, all in the safety of their home.

SEDA College is one of the few English schools in Ireland that has its own internship programme – applications are welcome from all SEDA students. In the unprecedented situation, we find ourselves, the programme now offers virtual internships. Applications for this remote work experience are subject to the below criteria:
– Upper-Intermediate or above level of English
– A commitment of at least 2 months (up to 20 hours per week).
Currently, we have opportunities in the following areas:
– Web development
– UI/UX design
– Software Testing
– Digital marketing
– Video creation
Students who do not have the above skills, or whose English is below Intermediate are still welcome to contact us. We will keep all applications on file and will attempt to find suitable placements for all applicants once the healthcare situation returns to normal.
