Drinks preparation workshop: check out the recipes

Last Thursday we had a workshop at SEDA where the students learned how to make some drinks. So, in order to enhance what we taught in class, we decided to share the recipes here on the blog. Check them out below and rock at your next parties:

Piña Colada:

– 3 oz Pineapple juice;
– 2 oz Coconut milk;
– 1 oz Lime juice;
– 1/4 Cup pineapple;
– 1/2 Cup banana;
– Some ice cubes.

Preparation mode: To prepare Piña Colada you first have to pour all the ingredients in the blender filled with ice, then you shake it until it becomes cold. After that, you simply pour the drink in a glass. If you want, you can decorate the glass with a slice of pineapple just to make it look nicer.

Virgin Mojito:

– Mint;
– 1/2 Lime;
– Sugar syrup;
– 1 oz Lime.

Preparation mode: To prepare your Virgin Mojito you first have to put some pieces of lime in a glass and then you have to push them really gently (there’s no need to bash them) with a muddler. Add your drink, some sugar syrup and some mint leaves (around 15 leaves). With a bar spoon, you have to bring up the pieces of lime that are at the bottom of the glass in order to make it tastes better and also to make it looks fancier. That’s it. Enjoy your drink!

Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri:

– 1/2 oz Strawberry syrup;
– 1 oz Lime;
– 2 Strawberries;
– 1/2 0z Sugar syrup.

Preparation mode: Fill your blender with the cracked ice. Add the lime juice, strawberries, and sugar and blend until completely smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add some water. When you finish, pour the drink into a chilled glass.

It’s important to point out that we didn’t use any kind of alcoholic drinks in our workshop, however, it’s up to youse to add whatever you want in your cocktails. We hope you enjoy these recipes and your future drinks as well. Have fun!
