PLANNING YOUR STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM AT SEDA COLLEGE

PLANNING YOUR STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM AT SEDA COLLEGE

Often time, future SEDA Students ask and wonder about planning a study abroad program to learn English with us at SEDA College.

It is important to remember that studying abroad takes prior careful planning.  Taking this into consideration, keep in mind that there are things you must think about before starting your journey.   What should you do to get on your way and to study English with us at SEDA College?  The first thing you must do is TALK to one of SEDA’s educational advisors and define/set several important points.  Visit or call SEDA College. We will advise you and give you details on how to plan your study abroad experience and the steps to take.

The following steps will help you plan  your study abroad program at SEDA College.

Set:

  1. Length of your course.   How long would you like your study abroad program to be?  SEDA College offers long and short study programs: from 4 weeks on. What ever time you spend abroad will be well spent; since, you will be in a full immersion program and environment.  So, if you can not get away for a long period of time from your home country, do not worry.  What ever amount of time you stay with us at SEDA it will be time well spent; plus it will certainly help you to increase your English proficiency and fluency.
  2. Once the number of weeks/months has been decided you must also think about when you would like to go.  This brings us to consider other points.  These include the season that you wish to travel – high (St, Patrick’s Day + summer and end of year) or low (this is important when buying your plane ticket), climate preferences and important personal dates.  As I write, there are students who are already registered at SEDA that have decided to travel in September to avoid high plane fares.  Others have decided to start their studies during the summer months to take advantage of traveling through Ireland in pleasant weather such as thousands of tourists do.(Now we are now able to proceed and reserve your spot at SEDA by finishing the final step on our list.)
  3. Once you have made your decision about how long you would like to study abroad and when you would like to go we can proceed to finalize the registration process and pay the study abroad program of your choice at SEDA College.

****  The great thing about planning with us is that you will not feel pressured by trimester or semester start dates.  At SEDA College students come in every Monday of the year (except holidays).  This lets you make your own travel plan.

Registration and processing of your study abroad program takes approximately 30-45 days prior to your trip.
