World Teachers’ Day (WTD), held annually on 5 October, is an important event for the entire educational community as an opportunity to celebrate the teaching profession. It aims to focus on “appreciating, assessing and improving the educators of the world”. Established in 1994, World Teachers’ Day is now in its 26th year.
We at SEDA College would like to take the opportunity to thank our teachers for all the hard work and effort that they put into their teaching.
We would like to celebrate their expertise and enthusiasm. Over the years, our teachers have put a lot of care and attention into teaching our students who come from over the world.
On World Teachers’ Day this year, our current students come from 21 different countries: Brazil, Chile, Panama, Japan, Costa Rica, Bolivia, Taiwan, China, Mongolia, Honduras, Italy, Guatemala, Malaysia, Turkey, Colombia, Korea, Spain, Uruguay, Argentina, Jordan and Nicaragua: that is what you call global reach!

At SEDA College we have over 30 English Language teachers providing Communicative English language classes on our General English Programme. In addition to them, we would like to recognise the skills and achievements of our online teachers, who work on the SEDA Online Platform, as well as our teachers of other languages. We are currently offering Evening classes in French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.
