An article in the newspaper “O Valor” states that the evasion rate of Brazilians in the country is the highest in 11 years

According to an article that recently appeared in the newspaper “O Valor”, the rate of Brazilians who decided to leave Brazil is the highest in 11 years. The pandemic has made this number reach its peak due to the lack of security in the future that citizens feel in the country.

Other factors such as the lack of safety on the streets and inflation also weigh on the balance of Brazilians when it comes to resolving the change in life. The economic crisis along with the release of access for Brazilians to enter the US made immigration gain strength.

Also according to the newspaper article “In 2021, 17% of Brazilians who left the country did not return, the highest number of the Federal Police survey, which began in 2010, when 7% of those who had left did not return. In 2019, that share was 5%.”

Exchange

If you also want to leave the country and work legally in Europe, the exchange is an option for you. Here in Ireland, the exchange student is allowed to work 20 hours a week, and in the summer 40 hours a week.

Remember that in order to have access to a work permit, the student needs to hire the 8-month course, as those with a duration shorter than that are not authorized to carry out any paid activity in the country.
