Remember that glorious week of sunshine? We were practically living outdoors, soaking up the vitamin D, and even taking classes al fresco like true continental scholars! Ah, bliss. Well, Planet Ireland decided we’d had enough fun, and this week, the infamous rainclouds rolled back in with gusto.

We’ve got a new face brightening up the place! Everyone give a massive SEDA welcome to Miguel, our fantastic new intern joining us all the way from sunny Spain. We’re absolutely delighted to have him on board. Be sure to say hello and make him feel right at home if you spot him around!

GOOOOAL! Pro Brazil into the Finals! ⚽🏆 Hold onto your hats, sports fans! HUGE congratulations are in order for the incredible Pro Brazil Futsal Team, who we are incredibly proud to sponsor. They fought like lions and have officially made it to the AUL League final! What an achievement! This massive win puts them one step closer to the ultimate dream – a shot at the UEFA Futsal Champions League. The whole SEDA community is cheering you on!
Calling Future Nurses!
Our amazing Nursing Knowledge and Communication Skills course wrapped up another successful session! Students delved deep into the essential vocabulary and grammar needed to excel in the healthcare field. It’s fantastic to see such dedication to learning skills that make a real difference. Hats off to all the participants!

The corridors got an extra buzz of energy as we welcomed another fantastic group of young students for our mini-stay programme! It’s always brilliant to have their enthusiasm and fresh perspectives around the college. We hope they have an unforgettable experience learning and exploring Dublin with us!

An EGG-cellent Adventure (Dublin)!
We hope you had as much fun as we did with the Easter Egg Hunt around the Dublin campus! There were some serious detective skills on display as students searched high and low for those hidden treats, winning some lovely prizes along the way.
To our wonderful students down in Cork, we’re so sorry the Egg Hunt couldn’t hop its way to your campus this year! We were gutted about it too, but promise we’ll cook up something extra fun to make it up to you very soon. Stay tuned!
Your Fortnightly Dose of Irish Weirdness! 🤪
Did you know that Ireland has one of the longest place names in the English-speaking world (though maybe not the longest, Wales might fight us for that title!)?
Try saying this one after a pint: Muckanaghederdauhaulia (Irish: Muiceanach idir Dhá Sháile, meaning “pig-marsh between two sea inlets”). It’s a small townland in County Galway. Imagine trying to give that address over the phone!
