One such partnership that we deeply cherish is our ongoing collaboration with The Armbarista and Jorge Santos Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Recently, we were honoured to receive a customised kimono from The Armbarista—a powerful symbol of the bond that unites us. This bespoke piece represents not only our appreciation for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but also the enduring friendship between our organisations. More than just fabric and stitching, this kimono embodies years of trust, dedication, and mutual support.
More Than a Partnership—A Brotherhood
The relationship between SEDA College, The Armbarista, and Jorge Santos Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is built on shared principles: discipline, perseverance, and growth. Just as Jiu-Jitsu teaches resilience on the mat, we strive to instil resilience in our students as they embark on their English learning journey in Ireland. Both paths demand commitment, effort, and an unwavering belief in progress.
For those unfamiliar, The Armbarista is more than just a brand—it is a movement that blends the art of coffee-making with the philosophy of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Just as a well-executed armbar requires precision and control, crafting the perfect cup of coffee demands skill and dedication. It all started during the pandemic. The JSBJJ academy faced difficult times and almost had to close its doors. To help keep the academy going, the coffee shop The Armbarista was created, representing community and resilience. Through the cafe eventually closed down, Armbarista evolved into something even greater. This unique fusion has resonated deeply within the Jiu-Jitsu and wider martial arts community.
