Dublin is a fantastic city and if you love travelling and want to go to the capital of the Emerald Isle for a quick visit, see what you can do in Dublin in 1 day. Check it out:

WHAT TO DO IN DUBLIN IN 1 DAY:

TRYING TRADITIONAL IRISH BREAKFAST IN A PUB

Yes, Dublin is famous worldwide for its pubs but some people think that they only serve drinks. Pub food is great and nothing better than trying the Irish breakfast (and know that it’s no crime to order a beer, preferably Guinness).

VISITING KILMAINHAM GAOL MUSEUM

More than an obligatory visit for anyone who loves history. Kilmainham Gaol was a prison and nowadays it is a museum and tells part of the history of the Irish ancestors who, in 1916, year of the revolution, were executed within those walls.

Address:
Kilmainham Gaol Museum Visitor Center
Inchicore Road, Kilmainham
Dublin 8

WALKING + LUNCH AT THE GUINNESS FACTORY

This attraction certainly could not be left out of the script. The Guinness Factory Tour is a journey into the history of one of the world`s most iconic beer brands.  Get to know the whole manufacturing process and also enjoy a pint of beer and a beautiful view of the city – and finish the tour in the restaurant, the food is delicious.

Address:
Guinness Storehouse
St. James’s Gate
Dublin 8, Ireland

GRAFTON STREET

And why not take the opportunity to go shopping? Grafton Street is one of Europe’s best-known streets, and there, as well as several shops of the most different brands around the world you will also find some street artists, the so-called buskers.

TRINITY COLLEGE

On the way to Grafton Street (actually at the beginning of it, as you can see in the video above) is one of the oldest and most famous universities in the world, which has its doors open daily so that visitors “get lost” amidst its beautiful buildings. One highlight goes to the main library, which is called The Long Room.

TAKE A BREAK FOR COFFEE AT STEPHEN’S GREEN

Stephen’s Green Park is beautiful and it’s like a haven in the middle of a very busy city. Located exactly at the end of Grafton Street, this place is fantastic for anyone who wants to take a short break after a long day sightseeing.

O’CONNELL STREET

It is not one of the most touristic streets, but it is certainly the busiest in the city. After the calmness of the park, welcome to chaos!

TEMPLE BAR

Even if the script is Dublin in 1 day, it is impossible to leave out the most famous pubs in the city and the region where they are located.

The Temple Bar area and The Temple Bar itself are Irish postcards and deserve a little bit of your time on the island. The night tour can be a good option if you don`t have much time.

So, are you more excited to get to know the Irish capital?
