For the first time in the history of Irish football, a team made up almost entirely of Brazilian players will compete in the final of the Frank Roe Cup<\/strong>, one of Ireland\u2019s traditional football competitions. Celtic United FC<\/strong> will face Saint Marks<\/strong> this Saturday, 17th May<\/strong>, at the AUL Complex in Dublin<\/strong>, with kick-off at 2pm (Ireland)<\/strong> \/ 10am (Brazil)<\/strong> \u2013 and several SEDA College representatives<\/strong> will be on the pitch.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian squad secured their place in the final after an impressive 3\u20130 victory over Howth<\/strong>, the current champions of the AUL 2nd Division League<\/strong>. Alongside this strong cup performance, Celtic United are also delivering an outstanding campaign in the league, currently sitting 5th in the table<\/strong> with two games in hand<\/strong>. With favourable results, they could climb as high as second place \u2013 which would earn them promotion to a higher division. In their last two matches, Celtic United delivered back-to-back thrashings: 6\u20131 against OLV FC<\/strong> and 5\u20131 over Clonee United<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

SEDA College<\/strong>, a proud supporter of sports and student initiatives, will be represented in the final by three students<\/strong> and Commercial Director Danilo Veloso<\/strong>, who shared his thoughts on the experience:<\/p>\n
