We\u2019re excited to introduce Sara D\u00edaz, the new Director of Studies at SEDA College! With years of experience and a deep passion for language education, Sara brings a fresh perspective to the role. Here\u2019s a bit about her journey, her insights on learning English, and her plans for supporting students at SEDA.<\/p>\n

Sara\u2019s journey in education began with a lifelong interest in teaching English. She studied Linguistics at university, and after graduating, she joined SEDA to develop an online course specifically designed to teach English to Spanish speakers. That experience was a defining moment; she loved adapting materials to students\u2019 needs and seeing them grow. From that point on, she knew she wanted to keep learning and honing her skills in language education.<\/p>\n

The Journey from Assistant to Director of Studies<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Working as SEDA\u2019s Assistant Director of Studies gave Sara valuable insights into the everyday needs of students and teachers. She was able to be part of the support process that helped both groups navigate the challenges of learning and teaching English. By working closely with SEDA\u2019s former Director of Studies, Dimitra, Sara gained practical experience and a deeper understanding of the day-to-day operations of the school. Now, as she steps into her new role, Sara feels well-prepared to lead and support the SEDA community.<\/p>\n

In her role as Director of Studies, Sara aims to make a meaningful impact on the student experience. Her goal is to keep improving the quality of SEDA\u2019s curriculum, provide tailored resources, and ensure students feel engaged and motivated. She envisions a learning environment where each student can confidently achieve fluency in English while enjoying the journey.<\/p>\n
