Students and staff together participated in this enormous event. During the day, the school also receive groups from all over the country.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The CEO, Tiago Mascarenhas, proudly commented on that achievement: \u201cSEDA is constantly breaking barriers and being the first in many things. This way of thinking ahead guaranteed us the status of pioneering in so many aspects, and of course one of them is to be the first school to be on St. Patrick\u2019s Day Parade\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The parade started at 12h15, and groups from every part of the island were there. Institutions such as Garda\u00ed,\u00a0 Firefighters, and Revenue were the first ones to present to the public. Bands from Canada and the United States also played in the parade, with gymnastics and dancers, for the public delight.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jorge Baez, coordinator of Social activities of SEDA College also talked about the emotion of being part of one of the biggest cultural events in the world: \u201c Being here is remarkable, and to be here representing SEDA College is one of the most important achievements of my career\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SEDA College costumes\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The students and the staff were dressed as swans representing the birds that lived in the rivers and canals, and water, representing The Royal Canal and the Grand Canal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sara Urbano, SEDA\u2019s staff affirmed that this experience was unique: \u201cI felt amazing being part of this big party. Thank you to everyone that organized this parade!\u201d. Anna Castanheiro, SEDA\u2019s manager was delighted to be on the parade for the first time: \u201c I watched the parade 2 times, and I never imagined that the next year I\u2019d be here. I\u2019m so glad!\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Now St. Patrick\u2019s is over. To us left just wait for this party in 2024.
