There are many unforgettable beaches in the country. But let’s mention three that are close to Dublin and that you have to know on your exchange:<\/span><\/p>\n

Portmarnock beach<\/span><\/p>\n

This is considered the best beach in Dublin. It is located north of the Irish capital and is very popular with surfers. It has a total length of 8 km and is surrounded by dunes that are home to enchanting and abundant flora.<\/span><\/p>\n

For those who like to walk, or go by bike, the route to Malahide beach is very quiet. The landscapes on the way are fascinating and you still get a good workout.<\/span><\/p>\n

Malahide Beach<\/span><\/p>\n

Malahide is further north of Portmarnock and is a small town that is home to a lot of money people who have summer houses there. Therefore, it is a typical small town that lives off tourism.<\/span><\/p>\n

The name of the beach is Velvet Strand and it has a length of 2 km. And despite being small, the city has good restaurants and many shops to buy souvenirs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Donabate Beach<\/span><\/p>\n

This beach is called Balcarrick. It is located in the north of County Dublin, in the city of Donabate, and is 2.5 km long. The dunes are beautiful, and it is highly recommended for canoeing, as well as hiking.<\/span><\/p>\n

From the beach, you can see the Howth Peninsula, the Malahide Estuary and Lambay Island. In other words, the view is simply exuberant. It is worth mentioning that the three beaches are very accessible and have bathrooms and parking for tourists.<\/span><\/p>\n
