St. Valentine’s celebrations are just around the corner! have you thought about what are the best options for this special day? We have a some fun ideas for you:

1. A Date to Remember at Dublin Zoo!

Dublin Zoo has an incredible plan for only 100 couple on Saturday February 11th and Sunday February 12th  from 8am. Is an unique experience that will start at 8am with a romantic breakfast picnic from Haughton House.

2. A perfect view

What about a visit to the Gravity Bar at the Guinness Storehouse, although you might book for this, what can be better than a full view of the city that goes all the way across Dublin Bay

3. St. Stephen’s Green

We all know that St. Stephen’s Green is a beautiful park, it’s also a perfect pace for a picnic, a nice ice cream (From Gino’s of course) just take a break. You’ll find benches, sculptures, monuments, and an ornamental lake to create nice pictures of your date.

4. Dublin Writer’s Museum

Even if you are not interested in literature, a tour around this museum will help you to discover and enjoy Dublin literary heritage and you will learn all you need to know about the famous writers. You can have a look to the bookshop, cafe and theatre to get the most out of this experience.

 

5. A movie night at The Lighthouse Cinema

A Valentine’s date doesn’t mean to spend a huge amount of money. Sometimes we have to go back to the basics. The Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield is a small art house where you can find also a bar! How romantic is that?

 

6. A walk on Dun Laoghaire Pier

It’s a nice option if you want to enjoy the outside in Dublin, take the DART and relax with the view. Here you can have a good coffee while you walk around and feel the breeze holding hands with your valentine!

6. Powerscourt

This is one of our favourite places to go! a lovely place for a walk and a great conversation admiring the gardens, the view of the Sugar Loaf Mountain and you need to add something amazing visit the waterfall. Best of all: just a bus ride from Dublin city centre.

Single and looking for love this Valentine’s Day? Ireland’s famous Friday night TV show, and the world’s longest-running chat show, The Late Late Show, are looking for single people to appear in their audience on their Valentine’s Day special show on Feb 10th. If you’re single and looking for a laugh, all you have to do is complete the application form and hope to be picked!
